rickie lee here,

the other half of our radio show got the flu, so hope to be able to do that next year.

meantime, wishing everyone, from south america, Europe, Africa, the Pacific Islands, the lochs and the Keys, (yes i just made that up) under the southern cross and up by the northern lights, a safe and calm week of christmas and new years gathering.

thank you for a good year and a great tour, finally got our band, feeling good about my crew, and the band, Wyatt, Joel, and Rob.

now back to Europe!

And... stay away from internet poker.

hi Rickie! did you know that there is something special happening on New Year's Eve? If the skies allow us, we'll be able to see a Blue Moon (second full moon in one month) and the next Blue Moon on 31 december won't happen until 2028 and the last Blue Moon on New Year's Eve occurred in 1990.

the expression Once in a Blue Moon will really be something else now :-)

have a good one and perhaps see you on tour in 2010 again...

You're still the one Ricky...your talent is truly beyond compare.

I'm still listening to my favorites..Company and Last Chance Texaco...both so absolutely brilliant and timeless.

So glad you're still with us and re-inventing yourself over and over again. Happy New Year!

didn't know you would be at the Triple Door tonight. Did I miss the memo or is this a RLJ "Spur of the moment" decision? Can't think of a better way to spend a Friday eve. Your show at Seattle Rep with Joe Jackson was the best show I've ever seen... (better than 1st row with the Stones)

We've both walked the same streets for the same reasons years ago, yet wonderous powers kept us alive and well to live another day. You are blessed... there must be a reason.

Will cancel tonight's plans if possible and hope to hear the sound of your voice. Next time, please let me know you're coming home?

Peace to You and Yours,
Jonathan
